Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the valve covers.
3. Position the piston of the cylinder being repaired at the bottom of the stroke.
4. Install the special tool between the valve spring coils to prevent valve stem seal damage.





5. Use the special tool to compress the valve springs and remove the cam roller followers.





Installation
1. Use the special tool to compress the valve spring and install the camshaft roller followers.





2. Remove the special tool from between the valve spring.





3. Install the valve covers.
