Removal and Installation
1. Remove the 5 pin-type retainers and the radiator sight shield.
2. Disconnect the hood ajar switch electrical connector.

3. NOTE: Mark the position of the hood latch prior to the removal of the bolts.

Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

4. Disconnect the hood latch release cable and remove the hood latch.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the hood latch adjustment to make sure the hood striker engages the hood latch correctly.
