Compass: Description and Operation

ELECTRONIC COMPASS

The compass display and module are an integral part of the interior rear view mirror. A 1 or 2 character display located in the upper right hand side of the mirror indicates the current direction of the vehicle (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW). The compass continuously recalibrates due to changes in the magnetic field and remains accurate during most driving conditions.
