Toe Adjustment

Front Toe Adjustment

1. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
2. Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight forward" position using a suitable holding device.





3. Loosen the tie-rod jam nuts and remove the steering gear bellows clamps.

4. NOTE: Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist when the front wheel spindle inner tie-rod is rotated.





Rotate the front wheel spindle inner tie-rods.





5. Tighten the tie-rod jam nuts. Install the steering gear bellows clamps.
^ Tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
6. Start the engine and recenter the steering wheel.
^ Recheck the toe settings and adjust if necessary.

Rear Toe Adjustment
1. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
2. Turn the engine off, and hold the steering wheel in the "straight forward" position using a suitable holding device.





3. Loosen the toe link jam nut.
^ Clean the nut and toe link threads.





4. Rotate the toe link to adjust the toe.





5. Tighten the toe link jam nut.
^ Tighten to 55 Nm (41 ft. lbs.).
6. Recheck the toe settings and adjust if necessary
