Normal Operation
The instrument cluster monitors the key-in-ignition, the ignition switch status, and the steering column lock status. The steering column lock status is sent to the instrument cluster from the input of the steering column lock module over the communication network. The instrument cluster turns on the steering wheel column lock indicator when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the steering column is locked.
