Normal Operation
The yellow electronic parking brake (EPB) system warning indicator (in the EPB switch) illuminates for 3 seconds at prove-out when the ignition switch is cycled to RUN, and illuminates continuously, even with the ignition switch OFF, when the EPB module has detected a fault in the system and DTCs are present.

Possible Causes
- EPB module
- EPB switch
- central junction box (CJB) fuse 7 (5A)
- circuit 75-CG14 (YE/GN) open
- circuit 31S-CG14 (BK/GN) open, short to voltage, or short to ground
