INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING

The air intake system consists of the:
- engine air cleaner (ACL).
- air cleaner element (ACL element).
- mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
- air cleaner outlet tube and resonator assembly.

The air intake system:
- cleans intake air with a replaceable, air cleaner element.
- measures air flow and intake air temperature with a mass air flow sensor.
- measures air temperature with an intake air temperature sensor.
