PINPOINT TEST J: THE SPEEDOMETER IS INOPERATIVETest J1-J4:
Normal Operation
Vehicle speed information is sent to the anti-lock brake system/traction control/integrated vehicle dynamics ABS/TC/IVD, or ABS/TC module from each of the four wheel speed sensors. The vehicle speed information is then sent to the instrument cluster by the ABS/TC/IVD, or ABS/TC module over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network, circuits 4-EG8 (GY/VT) and 5-EG8 (BU/WH). Instrument cluster DTC U1041 will be logged if the instrument cluster fails to receive the vehicle speed data from the ABS/TC/IVD, or ABS/TC module.

- instrument cluster
