Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Heavy Duty Riveter:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the front door trim panel.







2. Remove the rivet.







3. Disconnect the connector.







4. Remove the screw. Disconnect the handle from the rod. Remove the handle.







5. Disconnect the front door latch control rod.







6. Disconnect the rod from the door lock cylinder.







7. Remove the screws and remove the latch, linkage, and lock actuator as an assembly.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
