EGR Tube: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the cabin air plenum.
3. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) tube from the exhaust manifold.
^ Loosen the compression nut.
4. Disconnect the Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) hoses.
5. Disconnect the DPFE electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the EGR tube from the EGR valve.
^ Loosen the compression nut.
7. Position the wire harness bracket aside.
^ Remove the nuts.
8. Position the bracket aside.
^ Remove the bolts.
9. Remove the EGR tube from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
