Lower Intake Manifold

Removal
1. Remove the upper intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the fuel hose.





3. NOTE: Engine remove for clarity.

Remove the fuel hose bracket bolt.





4. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor vacuum hose.





5. Disconnect the fuel charging wiring harness connector.





6. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube and position out of the way.





7. Remove the bolts and the lower intake manifold.

Installation





1. Clean and inspect the lower intake manifold gaskets. Install new gaskets if necessary.

Lower Intake Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence:

2. Position the lower intake manifold and install the bolts in the sequence shown.





3. Connect the crankcase ventilation tube.





4. Connect the fuel charging wiring harness connector.





5. Connect the fuel pressure sensor vacuum hose.





6. NOTE: Engine removed for clarity.

Install the fuel hose bracket bolt.
7. Connect the fuel hose.
8. Install the upper intake manifold.
