End Play Check

Special Tools






1. Install the End Play Checking Tool.





2. Tighten the nut.





3. Install the Dial Indicator With Bracketry.





4. With the stylus contacting the converter shell and the dial indicator set to zero lift up on the handles of the checking tool.

NOTE: If the indicator reading is above specification, replace the torque converter.
