Fuel Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the main wiring.
2. Perform the fuel pressure release procedure. Fuel Pressure Release







3. Disconnect the fuel temperature sensor.
4. Disconnect the spring lock coupling.
- Remove the fuel temperature sensor.
5. Inspect the O-ring and replace as required.

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Never use silicone grease, it will clog the fuel temperature sensor. Lubricate the O-rings with clean engine oil meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.
