1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system in question.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of electrical damage.

^ Fuses
^ Wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded connections
^ Anti-lock brake control module
^ Audio Control Unit (ACM)
^ Driver Door Module (DDM)
^ Driver Seat Module (DSM)
^ Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) module
^ Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) module
^ Lighting Control Module (LCM)
^ Next Generation Speed Control (NGSC) servo
^ Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
^ Remote Emergency Satellite Cellular Unit (RESCU) module
^ Vehicle Dynamics Module (VDM)
^ Virtual Instrument Cluster (VIC)

3. If the concern remains after the inspection, connect New Generation STAR (NGS) Tester to the Data Link Connector (DLC) located beneath the instrument panel and select the vehicle to be tested from NGS Tester menu. If NGS Tester does not communicate with the vehicle:
^ Check that the program card is properly installed.
^ Check that the correct version of the program card is installed.
^ Check the connections to the vehicle.
^ Check the ignition switch position.

If NGS Tester still does not communicate with the vehicle, GO to Pinpoint Test P. P: No Module/Network Communication - NGS Tester No Power Up

4. GO to Pinpoint Test PC. System Precheck
