Air Compressor
REMOVAL1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
WARNING: TURN AIR SUSPENSION SWITCH OFF TO PREVENT VEHICLE DAMAGE OR PERSONAL INJURY.
2. Remove engine air cleaner (ACL).
3. Remove windshield washer reservoir assembly.
4. Remove compressor splash shield and push pins.
5. Remove air line from compressor air drier by pushing retainer inward and pulling out air line.
6. Disconnect compressor electrical connector.
7. If necessary, raise vehicle on hoist.
8. Remove three nuts retaining compressor to fender apron.
9. Lower vehicle.
10. Remove air compressor and compressor air drier assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten compressor-to-fender retaining nuts to 6.4-8.1 Nm (48-71 ft. lbs.).
