Seat Back Frame, Pad and Trim Cover
REMOVAL1. Remove seat and track assembly.
2. For seats with manual recliner, remove spring clip and front seat back adjusting handle from front seat back latch.
NOTE: Power seat back adjuster assemblies do not have a seat back adjusting handle. Go to step 3.
3. Disengage J-retainer and arrow retainers at outboard right rear corner and J-retainer from cushion frame side. Pull back trim cover.
4. Remove push pin retainers and remove trim cover from manual front seat back latch or power seat back adjuster left of recliner cover. Disconnect front seat back pad adjusting tube (if equipped). Disconnect harness connector.
5. Remove two screws retaining manual front seat back latch or power seat back adjuster (on outboard side) and pivot bolt on the inboard side. Remove front seat back assembly.
6. Disengage J-retainers at bottom of front seat back and pull up seat back liner.
7. Remove front seat back robe cord end covers and two retaining screws and remove front seat back assist cord.
8. Remove front seat back head restraint.
9. Unscrew front seat head rest guide rod retainers from front seat head rest guide rod sleeves.
10. Peel front seat back cover from bottom to top while disengaging hook fastener tiedowns.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten manual front seat back latch or power seat back adjuster retaining screws to 23-32 Nm (17-23 Lb-Ft).
