Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the sliding electric roof panel to duplicate the condition.
2. Inspect to determine if one of the following mechanical or electrical concerns apply:

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
^ Damaged roof panel.
^ Obstructed sliding root rail and guide.
^ Damaged drive cable(s).

Electrical
^ Circuitry open/shorted.
^ Damaged roof sliding panel switch.
^ Damaged sliding roof panel motor.
^ Damaged power distribution box circuit breaker F (30 A).

3. If the inspection reveals an obvious concern(s) that can be readily identified, service as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the condition(s) and go to the Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
