Removal and Installation

1. Remove air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Disconnect throttle position sensor at connector and accelerator cable at the throttle lever.
3. Remove crankcase ventilation tube from throttle body vacuum port.
4. Remove four throttle body retaining bolts.
5. Carefully separate throttle body from intake manifold.
6. Remove and discard throttle body gasket between throttle body and intake manifold.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: If scraping is necessary, be careful not to damage gasket surfaces or allow material to drop into manifold.
1. Clean gasket mating surfaces.
2. Install throttle body, new throttle body gasket and the retaining bolts to the intake manifold. Tighten retaining bolts to 8-10 Nm (6-7 lb ft) then rotate an additional 85-95 degrees.
3. Reinstall crankcase ventilation tube to throttle body vacuum port.
4. Connect throttle position sensor at connector and accelerator cable to the throttle lever.
5. Install air cleaner outlet tube.
