Variable Induction Control Valve: Adjustments

1. Remove IMRC assemblies.

2. Rotate the valve plates to the closed position. Turn the adjustment screw in bracket clockwise until screw no longer contacts the lever arm.

3. With the valve plates in the closed position, insert a 0.05 mm (0.002 in) feeler gauge between adjustment screw and lever arm. Adjust the screw clockwise until screw contacts the feeler gauge. Remove the feeler gauge and turn the adjustment screw clockwise an additional three quarters to one turn.

4. The IMRC assembly valve plates should rotate freely to the open position when vacuum is released, and rotate to the closed position (with lever arm contacting the adjustment screw) when vacuum is applied.
