Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

1. Using a suitable tool, push the accelerator cable nylon bushing, from back side of arm, out of the accelerator pedal and shaft arm.

2. Remove the two accelerator pedal and shaft retaining nuts.

3. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten accelerator pedal and shaft nuts to 15-20 Nm (11-18 lb-ft). Check accelerator pedal and shaft for smooth operation.
