Transmission Mode Indicator - A/T: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

When the gearshift is at "D" and the transmission control switch is depressed, the Overdrive is cancelled. A ground signal is sent to the Instrument Cluster from the Powertrain Control Module, and the Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL) comes on.
