Security Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

OPERATION

The Anti-theft Warning Indicator is powered at all times by Fuse 17. When the ignition is turned "OFF" and the door is opened, the Antitheft Indicator flashes. After the door locks are operated, the Anti-theft Protection System is armed and the Anti-theft Warning Indicator stays on continuously. After the door is closed, the indicator stays on for approximately 30 seconds and then goes off.
