ID18 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 430F)

^ The air suspension control module can not activate the left rear air spring solenoid valve. In order to determine the cause of this the following actions are required:

^ Electrically disconnect left rear air spring solenoid from the vehicle wiring harness connector.

^ Using a voltmeter, connect positive lead to air' spring solenoid valve wiring harness connector Circuit 429 and negative lead to Circuit 430F of the same connector.

NOTE: The Air Spring Solenoid Valve Cycle functional test is still being conducted. During this functional test the front ride height of vehicle may lower and rear ride height may raise.

^ Does voltage reading pulse between zero and battery voltage (check is to be made over a one minute time period)?

YES -- INSTALL a new left rear air spring solenoid and then REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- GO to ID19.
