EC6 Checking Wiring Harness (Circuit 429 to Ground)

^ In order to determine if vehicle wiring harness has the air spring solenoid valve circuits in the proper location the following test is required:

^ Using an analog ohmmeter, connect one lead to left rear air spring solenoid valve vehicle wiring harness connector Circuit 429 and other to a known good chassis ground.

^ Is ohmmeter reading less than 2 ohms?

YES -- Air spring solenoid power Circuit 429 and ground Circuit 430F are reversed. RELOCATE these circuits to the proper location. RECONNECT air spring solenoid valve and air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.

NO -- Left rear air spring solenoid valve's ground Circuit 430F has a resistance to chassis ground that is above acceptable limits. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics after service is made.
