Left Front


Removal

WARNING: THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT NECESSARY FOR SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT IS POWERED DIRECTLY FROM THE BATTERY. TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY, THE POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE MUST BE DISCONNECTED PRIOR TO SERVICING OR REPLACING ANY SYSTEM COMPONENTS.

1. Disconnect positive battery cable.
2. Remove air filter assembly RH side and/or battery and battery tray LH side.
3. Remove wiring locator from sheet metal.












4. Disconnect RH/LH front sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove three screws retaining RH/LH front sensor to RH/LH radiator support, and remove sensor.

Installation
1. Position RH/LH front sensor and wire lead in vehicle and secure sensor to RH/LH radiator support with three retaining screws. Tighten screws to 10.2-13.8(91-122 lb-in).
2. Connect RH front sensor wire lead connector to wiring assembly connector.
3. Install wiring locator into hole in sheet metal.
4. Install air filter assembly RH side and/or battery and battery tray LH side.
5. Connect positive battery cable.
6. Verify air bag indicator.
