Dual Damping System Operation

The function of the dual dampening system is to automatically switch the shock strut settings from soft to firm when driving conditions require it. The system monitors vehicle accelerations, decelerations, up and down road wheel travel and also steering wheel position and steering wheel turning rates before responding to individual sensor inputs.
