Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

LEFT SIDE

1. Remove oil dipstick tube support bracket.
2. Disconnect spark plug wires.
3. Raise and support vehicle.
4. Remove manifold-to-exhaust pipe attaching nuts.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then the manifold.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque manifold attaching bolts to specifications.

RIGHT SIDE

1. Remove air cleaner outlet tube assembly.
2. Disconnect coil wire, then the spark plug wires.
3. Disconnect EGR tube.
4. Raise and support vehicle.
5. Remove manifold-to-exhaust pipe attaching nuts, then lower vehicle.
6. Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then the manifold.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Torque manifold attaching bolts to specifications.
