ISSUE: Mark VII and Lincoln Town Car vehicles built Job #1, 1988 that require service to the EEC IV system should use 1987-1/2 diagnostics.


ACTION: If service is required, use the diagnostic procedures in the 1987- 1/2 Engine/Emission Diagnosis Shop Manual Supplement, Volume H, until the 1988 Shop Manual is available.
