Ford Motor Company is providing an additional coverage service program, (Number 94M86), for owners of certain 1988 Model Continentals.

REASON FOR THIS PROGRAM
Some owners of 1988 model Continentals serviced under emissions recalls 93E41 or 93E42, may experience reduced engine driveability after the recall service was provided.

WHAT WE WILL DO
This letter is to inform you that additional coverage is available for this driveability condition resulting from the recall service. At no charge to you, your dealer will replace an engine control assembly, a fuel handling assembly and a cooling system thermostat.

PROGRAM LIMITS
This additional coverage service program is available through December 31, 1998.

WHAT YOU DO
PLEASE KEEP THIS LETTER. If your Continental should exhibit the condition within the indicated time limitation, contact your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer. Show the dealer this letter.

If you misplace this letter, your dealer will still do the work free of charge.

REFUNDS
If you paid to have this service done before the date of this letter, Ford is offering a full refund. For the refund, please show your paid work-order to your Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer.
