1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove seven instrument panel pad attaching screws, Fig. 6.
3. Remove four upper finish panel retaining screws in top defroster openings and remove finish panel and instrument panel pad assembly.
4. Remove right and left side applique panels by carefully lifting and prying at the outboard end of each panel, Fig. 6.
5. Open ash receptacle and remove ash bin, then remove two retaining screws, Fig. 6.
6. Remove two screws located directly above climate control head.
7. Carefully pry loose three clips located at top of enter applique panel and remove panel.
8. Remove five screws retaining ash receptacle door assembly to applique panel and remove door assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
