L110F HYBRID TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE: OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH (w/o Spare Tire) Removal
3. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
7. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
8. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal
9. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal
10. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
11. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal
12. DISCONNECT OIL PUMP MOTOR CONTROLLER CONNECTOR
NOTICE:
Be sure to perform the procedure as described below. Do not turn the power switch on (READY) before reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.
(a) Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.
(b) Release the lock on the connector.
(c) Release the lock lever on the connector as shown in the illustration. Disconnect the connector from the oil pump motor controller.
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
(d) Disconnect the clamp.

13. REMOVE FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER Removal
14. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal
15. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Removal
16. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Removal
17. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal
18. REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR Removal
19. DRAIN TRANSMISSION FLUID Removal
20. DRAIN COOLANT (for Inverter) Coolant (for Inverter)
21. DISCONNECT INLET OIL COOLER HOSE Removal
22. DISCONNECT OUTLET OIL COOLER HOSE Removal
23. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 nuts and 2 bolts from the exhaust manifold LH and RH.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket sub-assembly.
24. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS
(a) Separate the 9 wire harness clamps and connector from the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly.
25. DISCONNECT OUTLET NO. 1 HYBRID WATER PUMP PIPE
(a) Remove the clip and disconnect the water pump hose.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts and clip, and disconnect the outlet No. 1 hybrid water pump pipe.
26. DISCONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE
(a) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses.
NOTICE:
Do not touch any parts that may be hot, such as the exhaust pipe.
HINT
Cover each disconnected oil cooler hose with a plastic bag or tape to prevent fluid from dripping.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler tube.
27. REMOVE OIL WITH MOTOR PUMP ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the transmission breather hose from the oil with motor pump assembly.
(b) Using SST, remove the 4 bolts, oil with motor pump and gasket from the hybrid vehicle transmission assembly.
