SUSPENSION CONTROL: HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Front LH): REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure to read the "PRECAUTION" thoroughly before servicing Suspension Control System.
HINT
* Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH
5. DISCONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
(a) Remove the bolt and detach the 2 clips.
6. REMOVE FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and disconnect the height control sensor link from the front No. 2 suspension lower arm LH.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and height control sensor.
NOTICE:
Do not drop the height control sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
