2UR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: HYDROCARBON ABSORBER CATALYST ACTUATOR: INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
* The procedures should be performed by at least 2 people.
* Wear protective gloves when removing the exhaust pipe.
* The exhaust pipe is extremely hot immediately after the engine has stopped.
* Confirm that the exhaust pipe has cooled down before removing it.
HINT
When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.

1. INSTALL AIR CONTROL SPRING

(a) Install the spring LH and RH as shown in the illustration.





2. INSTALL UPPER NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE PROTECTOR

(a) Install the protector LH and RH with the 6 nuts.





Torque : 5.2 Nm (53 kgf-cm, 46 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 vacuum hoses.

4. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) Installation

5. INSTALL EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR Installation

6. CONNECT EXHAUST PIPE AIR HOSE Installation

7. INSPECT FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAK Installation

8. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR BRACE Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER Installation

10. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER LH Installation

12. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH Installation

13. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH Installation

14. INSTALL NO. 5 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR Installation

15. INSTALL NO. 6 ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR Installation

16. INSTALL NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation

17. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation
