Suspension Main Relay: Testing and Inspection
SUSPENSION CONTROL: SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY (AIR SUS)
(a) Remove the suspension control relay from the engine room No. 5 relay block.
5. INSPECT SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
If the result is not as specified, replace the suspension control relay.
6. INSTALL SUSPENSION CONTROL RELAY
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque : 5.6 Nm (57 kgf-cm, 50 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
8. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation
9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
