STEERING COLUMN: TILT AND TELESCOPIC MANUAL SWITCH: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL TILT AND TELESCOPIC MANUAL SWITCH
(a) Attach the claw to install the tilt and telescopic manual switch.
(b) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/o Driver Monitor Camera)





(a) Attach the claw to install the upper steering column cover.
(b) Attach the 4 clips to install the upper steering column cover onto the instrument cluster finish panel.





(c) Attach the 2 claws to install the lower steering column cover.
NOTICE:
Do not damage the tilt and telescopic switch.

(d) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18in-lbf)





(e) Install the 2 screws.
Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18in-lbf)
HINT: Turn the steering wheel to the right and left as necessary to install the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/ Driver Monitor Camera)





(a) Attach the clip to install the upper steering column cover.
(b) Attach the 4 clips.





(c) Attach the 2 claws to install the lower steering column cover.
NOTICE:
Do not damage the tilt and telescopic switch.

(d) Install the screw.
Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18in-lbf)





(e) Install the 2 screws.
Torque: 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18in-lbf)
HINT: Turn the steering wheel to the right and left as necessary to install the 2 screws.

4. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER Installation
5. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- Reset the AUTO TILT AWAY function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter Programming and Relearning.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

7. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Installation
8. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH
9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
10. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
