INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK NTSC/PAL SIGNAL (RSE IMAGE QUALITY ADJUSTMENT SCREEN)




(a) During the VTR image, check if the changing of the NTSC/PAL signal is normal by pressing the remote controller's DISPLAY switch, entering the RSE image adjustment screen, and pressing the PAL VIDEO button.
OK:
Returned to normal after pressing image quality adjustment screen's PAL VIDEO button.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - BODY GROUND)
OK -- END
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the R31 controller connector.
(b) Check the waveform of the television display using an oscilloscope.

Measurement condition





OK:
Waveform is as shown in the illustration.
NG -- GO TO DISPLAY SIGNAL CIRCUIT BETWEEN VIDEO TERMINAL AND TELEVISION DISPLAY
OK -- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
