EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
2. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)
4. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

5. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

11. REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE






(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.
HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY






(a) w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:
(1) Disconnect the No. 3 luggage room wire connector.






(b) Put protective tape around the rear bumper assembly.
(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
(d) Remove the 6 screws and 2 rear bumper seal brackets.






(e) Disengage the 6 claws and disconnect the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.





(f) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.






(g) w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:
(1) Disengage the clamp and remove the grommet.
