Liftgate Striker Adjustment




1 Check for an equal gap and alignment to the adjacent panels. If incorrect, follow the adjust procedure below.




2 Remove the liftgate striker cover.
- Release the 2 clips.




3 Loosen the 2 liftgate striker bolts.
4 Close the liftgate and check for an equal gap and alignment to the adjacent panels.




5 Adjust the bump stops if required.
6 Open the liftgate and tighten the liftgate striker bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb.ft).
7 Install the liftgate striker cover.
