Coolant Pump

Service Repair No - 26.50.26

Removal

NOTE: This procedure covers the removal and installation of the supercharger auxiliary coolant pump.

1. Remove the air cleaner.
2. Drain the supercharger charge air coolant as required.
3. Disconnect the 2 coolant pump hoses.
^ Clamp the relevant hoses, to minimize the coolant loss.
^ Position a container to collect the fluid.
^ Release the 2 clips.

4. Remove the coolant pump.
^ Remove the clamp bolt.
^ Disconnect the electrical connector.





Installation
1. Install the coolant pump and align with bracket register.
^ Connect the electrical connector.
^ Tighten the bolt to 6 Nm (4 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect the coolant pump hoses.
^ Secure with the clips.
^ Remove the hose clamps.

3. Install the air cleaner.
4. Top-up and bleed the supercharger cooling system.

5. NOTE: For NAS vehicles only.

If required, carry out a long drive cycle.
