Auxiliary Oil Cooler

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the RH headlamp assembly.
4. Remove the RH fender splash shield.

CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing the components, ensure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean and dry. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.

5. Disconnect the 2 auxiliary oil cooler hoses.
^ Position a container to collect the oil spillage.
^ Release the 2 clips.





6. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler.
^ Remove the 2 bolts.





Installation
1. Install the auxiliary oil cooler.
^ Clean the components.
^ Tighten the bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect the auxiliary oil cooler hoses.
^ Clean the components.
^ Secure with the clips.

3. Install the RH fender splash shield.
4. Install the RH headlamp assembly.
5. Connect the battery ground cable.
6. Check and top-up the engine oil.
