Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Cylinder head bolts

The bolts can only be used twice

Bolts 1 to 10
Tighten 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Tighten 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
Tighten bolts 1 to 10 90 degrees.
Tighten bolts 1 to 10 further 90 degrees.
Tighten M8 bolts 11 and 12 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

Cylinder Head
Maximum permitted warp 0.125 mm (0.005 in)

Camshaft bearing caps 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
Evenly tighten the bolts in the sequence








Intake camshaft sprocket 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Then further 90 degrees
Exhaust camshaft sprocket 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Then further 90 degrees

Exhaust Manifold LH 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)





Exhaust Manifold RH 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
