Instrument Panel Upper Section

Service Repair No - 76.46.04

Removal

1. Remove the driver side register trim panel.
2. Remove the passenger side register trim panel.

3. CAUTION: Protect the surrounding trim from damage when changing the component.

Remove the center speaker grille.
^ Release the 6 clips.







4. Remove the instrument panel upper section.
^ Remove the 11 Torx screws.
^ Slide the instrument panel upper section away from the windshield and disconnect the speaker electrical connector.







5. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the center speaker.
^ Remove the 4 Torx screws.

6. Remove the instrument cluster surround.
^ Remove the 4 Torx screws.







Installation

1. Install the instrument cluster surround.
^ Install the Torx screws.

2. Install the center speaker.
^ Install the Torx screws.

3. Install the instrument panel upper section.
^ Connect the speaker electrical connector.
^ Install the Torx screws.

4. Install the center speaker grille.
^ Carefully secure the clips.

5. Install the passenger side register trim panel.
6. Install the driver side register trim panel.
