86.77.07 Electronic Control Unit (ECU) - Immobilization

If the ECU is to be replaced then Testbook/T4 must be connected and correct procedures adhered to, prior to battery disconnection.

Remove
1. Remove centre console.





2. Remove bolt securing immobilization ECU to gear selector carrier.
3. Release immobilization ECU from the mounting and disconnect multiplug.
4. Remove ECU.

Refit
1. Fit and secure immobilization ECU to carrier, tighten bolt to 3 Nm (2.2 lbf.ft).
2. Connect multiplug to immobilization ECU.
3. Fit centre console.
