Vehicle Preparation

1. Position new bracket (PRC9033BRKT) into the floor location and secure the new bracket with two 6 mm bolts.

2. Locate the 6 mm (0.25 in) hole on the rearmost horizontal mounting lug.

3. Using this hole as a guide, drill a six mm (0.25 in) hole through the carpet, insulation and

4. Trace outline of outboard support bracket on carpet.

5. Remove temporarily mounted new bracket.

6. Cut out marked area of the carpet and insulation.

7. Locate previously drilled 6 mm (0.25 in) hole and drill out to ten mm (0.40 in).

8. Remove any excess material from the floorpan which might not allow the rivnut to be installed correctly.

9. Remove any drill filings from the vehicle floorpan.

10. Apply AVDEL(R)AV-25 rust preventative or equivalent to drilled area of floorpan.

11. Insert rivnut into 10 mm hole in floorpan.
