Removal of Headliner
1. Make sure the radio code is available and disconnect battery negative terminal.2. Remove A-pillar trims and set aside.
3. Remove three screws and remove sunvisors.
4. Disconnect vanity mirror light wiring harnesses.
5. Pry out sunroof switch panel and disconnect wire connectors.
6. Remove ten screws holding overhead map pocket; remove center screws last.
7. Disconnect map light connector and lay map pocket assembly aside.
8. Remove the following interior components:
^ Two sunvisor catches.
^ Interior sunroof opening trims.
^ Four overhead grab handles.
^ Rear dome lamp and disconnect wire harness.
^ Rear A/C control, if equipped, and disconnect wire connectors.
^ Rear sunroof switch.
^ Screw exposed by removal of rear sunroof switch.
^ Right near speaker
^ Right D-post trim by releasing upper dips and lifting up and away. (For non-rear A/C models, repeat for left side.)
9. On rear A/C models remove left D-post trim by removing speaker screws and two screws in leading edge.
10. Pry off protective caps and remove upper seat belt anchors.
11. Remove Alpine light trims, while taking care not to damage trims.
12. Remove cargo cover if present.
13. If rear A/C equipped, remove two screws securing rear-most a/c duct and rotate duct down to free from rear groove.
14. Release headliner from B-post trim.
15. Release headliner from C-post trim.
16. On non-rear A/C vehicles, release headliner from rear support channel.
17. Fold rear seats forward for clearance.
18. Get assistance and remove headliner from vehicle. Use care not to crease material.
