Headliner Installation

1. With assistance, fit headliner into vehicle.

2. Raise rear seat backs to support headliner.

3. Install headliner into C-post trim, then into B-post trim.

4. For non-A/C vehicles, install headliner into rear support channel.

Note:
Make sure that all wiring harnesses are pulled through headliner.

5. Install screw under rear sunroof switch first.

6. Install rear-most A/C duct, if equipped, and engage duct in channel at rear and rotate upwards; seat it fully onto a/c duct on left side of vehicle. Fasten duct with two screws.

7. Install Alpine light trims; make sure that weather strips on lower edges are in position and even.

8. Reinstall upper seat belt anchors and tighten to 20 Nm. (15 lbf. ft.). Replace finishing caps.

9. Install right D-post trim by engaging clips on bottom, rotating up and securing with clips.

10. Connect right speaker wires and fasten speaker with screws.

11. For non-rear A/C, repeat steps 9 and 10 for left D-post trim

12. On rear A/C vehicles, install left post trim by installing leading edge screws first, and then speaker wires and speaker.

13. Install the following components

^ Rear sunroof switch; note proper orientation.

^ Rear dome light with switch to the right.

^ If equipped rear A/C wires and switch.

^ Cargo cover, if present.

^ Four grab handles (the bend should point upwards). Make sure that the headliner is even before tightening grab handles.

^ Map light connections on overhead map pocket and pull sunroof wire harness through opening.

^ Ten screws starting in the center to secure map pocket.

^ Sun visor catches.

^ Sunroof switch (green connector goes to left switch).

^ Sunvisors while being careful not pinch vanity mirror, light harnesses, or sunroof drain hoses.

^ A-pillar trims, while being careful not to pinch tweeter harnesses.

^ Sunroof opening trims.

14. Reconnect battery and reset radio code.

15. Test all switches and lights.

16. Test sunroof operation.
