Tow Damage Reporting Procedure

The following procedure is to be used when a vehicle has been subjected to damage when towed under the Land Rover Road Recovery Program provided by Cross Country Motor Club

It is critical that any alleged damage to a vehicle during the towing process is reported to Cross Country immediately upon discovery, and also prior to any repairs being made.

Monday - Friday (normal business hours) 9:00 a.m. -5 p.m. EST

The dealer or customer should contact Land Rover Road Recovery at 1-800-444-3700. The caller should advise the representative that they are calling concerning an alleged damaged vehicle incident. Their representative will transfer the caller to the Damaged Vehicle Coordinator in the Service Administration Network.

The Damaged Vehicle Coordinator will take all pertinent information and begin the investigation/evaluation process which will ultimately determine appropriate responsibility and any appropriate remittance.

After normal business hours

The dealer or customer should follow the above noted 800 line procedures.

The representative will open either a new service call or activate the original incident service call making appropriate reason codes and comments relative to the alleged damaged vehicle incident.

This service call will then be printed and left to the attention of the Damaged Vehicle Coordinator who will begin the evaluation process on the next working day.
