Radio Security Code Cards - Range Rover 4.0 SE
Contrary to all other Land Rover models, the Range Rover 4.0 SE is being shipped to your dealership without any completed radio security code cards in the vehicle.
As was described in EMail G95/03, an initial supply of blank cards would be sent to you. By now you should have received 20 blank cards (enough for 10 vehicles), and with the Service Manager's copy of this bulletin you will find another 50.
In the future, as a running change, blank cards will start to appear in the Owners Handbook. The total initial supply of 70 cards should be sufficient until the running change takes effect.
By accessing the Land Rover DCS, take two cards per vehicle, look up the radio security code number and complete the cards with the code and vehicle's vin number. The code is found under the "vehicle warranty/recall search" screen. Place the two completed cards in the Owners Handbook. The cards should then be reviewed with the customer at delivery.
ONLY CALL THE LAND ROVER TECHNICAL HOT LINE FOR A RADIO CODE IF YOU HAVE FIRST CHECKED THE DCS FOR THE CODE BUT CANNOT FIND IT.
If you at any time require additional cards then please call Sharon Meachem on (301) 731 8173.
