A creaking/squeaking noise from the windscreen/dash area can be caused by a hard contact between the edge of the dash board and the windscreen/bulkhead.
ACTION REQUIRED
If after a road test the creak/squeak is identified as coming from this area, follow the procedure below.

STC3O96 - Anti-Rattle Tape
PROCEDURE
Refer to the workshop manual section 76 Dash Panel Assembly.
Slacken off the fascia and fit the anti-rattle tape along the fascia edge as shown in the illustration.
Refer to bulletin O4/O1/951US for torque specifications of fascial dashboard hardware.
