If the drinks tray assembly is to be replaced, and the vehicle is fitted with the front fog lamp switch, it will be necessary to remove the spring retaining tab from the switch pack aperture.
Failure to remove this tab will result in a foul condition with the fog lamp switch.
NOTE:
The retaining tab is only removed on the switch panel side.
ACTION REQUIRED
Should a vehicle require a replacement drinks tray, follow the procedure below.
PARTS INFORMATION
AWR1200LNF - Drinks tray assembly.
PROCEDURE
1) With the switch pack removed, cut off the spring retaining tab (as shown in the illustration), as close to the base as possible.
2) Fit the carrier and switches as normal.
3) The switch will be difficult to fit if insufficient material has been removed.
Note:
This process can be carried out with the tray assembly in position.
